The linkage-assisted movement allows it to cut branches up to 45 mm in diameter without much effort and without recoil on the operator. The handles of the TUCANO are made of anodized extruded aluminum with an oval cross-section that can withstand great stresses. The blade and straight tie rod (without bushing), made of high-carbon steel, are hot forged. The lightweight aluminum counterblade is hot forged and is guaranteed for life against breakage. Surface treatment with anodic oxidation increases durability. Like all our hand pruning tools, it is fully interchangeable.
